Friday, January 1 is a big day for the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in Ohio. This begins a celebratory year of Sister Dorothy’s life, the fifth anniversary year of her death in Brazil’s Amazon.   At the Cincinnati Cathedral, Sister Dorothy Stang’s banner will head up a procession which memorializes more than 20 modern heroes and martyrs during the World Day of Peace Mass.
